I realise this is very short notice, but still; this may interest those of you who are in the Nottingham area. If you are still deciding what to do this evening, make the right decision and attend the Annexinema event. Starting at 6pm and finishing at 11, this looks like a fascinating way to spend the evening. I love the idea of the optional dress code of 'the golden age of cinema', but I digress:
< Annexinema / Sideshow >
< Forthcoming / Annexinema >
The main reason I want to mention the event is that a friend of mine, the writer / poet / editor of Staple magazine, Wayne Burrows is doing a short performace piece called 'Disturbances'. He has created a fictional world out of some found colour slides, with a rich backstory and incredible detail, centred around a character called Robert Holcombe.
You can read all about Wayne Burrows' project through these links:

< Robert Holcombe (1923 - 2003) >
I believe there are plans afoot, to expand this incredibly creative project in various ways. Watch this space.
